The Midnights Era Party | Taylor Swift Eras Tour Party Mood Boards
You really can’t escape Taylor Swift in the news these days, she is everywhere! And with her recent Era’s show lyric change of “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs….” we all can’t help but swoon over her current romantic era with Travis Kelce. Like every Swiftie out there, I am eagerly awaiting the songs that are going to be written about this romance and wish Taylor and Travis all the best, they deserve it!
But anyways, today we are focusing on Taylor’s most recent album, Midnights. This album had such a highly anticipated release and I loved all the marketing that Taylor and her team did with this era, with all the Easter eggs and TikTok videos. In this album, Taylor focused on a lot of feelings that she relates to midnight, whether that be nights out on the town with friends or sleepless nights wide awake. With midnights being the main theme of the album, the color scheme focuses on a deep navy blue color. But there were also a lot of retro 70s aspects to the album release, from her music video sets to her photoshoot outfits. So for this party mood board, I did a mix of glitzy disco ball style with a more mod color scheme. Check it out below!

TAYLOR SWIFT’S ERAS TOUR PARTY MOOD BOARD: THE FOLKLORE ERA
Decorate your space with these navy blue paper fans.
It wouldn’t be a Midnights party if we didn’t include something bejeweled. This set of rhinestones would make the best bejeweled confetti across your tablescape. Or get crafty by using these gems to create custom placecards or even drink stirrers would be super cute!
Add a touch of lavender haze to your tablescape with these beautiful lavender wine glasses.
No retro-inspired aesthetic is complete without disco balls! Show your guests to their seats with these silver disco ball place card holders.
This metallic tinsel backdrop would make the perfect DIY retro photobooth.
Use these sand paper plates to tie in your retro color scheme to your place settings.
I love these orange chevron pattern cloth napkins to give your party that mod 70s vibe.
Add more disco balls to the party decor with this fun disco ball ice bucket!
These twist taper candles are a nice pop of navy blue to compliment your color scheme.
Velvet was super popular in 70s fashion and home decor, so this Navy Blue velvet tablecloth is a great fit for a Midnights tablescape.
I think these amber votive candle holders look kind of retro and also tie in the oranges of the color scheme.
This modern silver disposable cutlery is the perfect addition to your place setting.
Include these washed corduroy floor pillows to use as lounge seating as a fun nod to Taylor’s corduroy pants she wore in one of her iconic 70s outfits during the marketing of the Midnights release.
One exciting aspect of this album release was when Taylor released an extended version (the 3am edition) three hours after the original album. And in my opinion, I think that if you are a bigger fan of her albums 1989 and Reputation, then you prefer the original Midnights songs. But if you are more of a Red or Evermore girlie (like myself) then you tend to prefer the 3am songs. So all that to say, I think my favorite song in the Midnights era is Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve, specifically the incredible bridge in that song.
And that officially concludes the 10 current Taylor Swift Eras! If you missed any of the previous Eras Tour Party Mood Boards, check them out here…
I’ve had so much fun putting together these party mood boards while simultaneously watching all the eras tour surprises on TikTok over the last few months. What a time to be alive! Can’t wait to see what Taylor has in store for her 11th album :)
