Papergang Subscription Review — Entertain the Idea

I have been subscribed to Ohh Deer's monthly stationary subscription box Papergang for about 6 months now. And overall, I love it! Like any subscription box, some months are better than others, but I'm always excited to receive it in the mail! The box costs £9.15 plus a £4.95 delivery to the US (which converts to about $20) and you receive about £20 worth of stationary (about $28). This post will give you a glimpse into the first box of 2018, which is by far my favorite box to date.

Here are a few of my favorite things about Papergang:

1. Each month, Ohh Deer works with a different artist to design the illustrations and style of all the pieces in the box. There is always a general cohesive theme, and this month was Palm Springs! The items include many adorable illustrations of flamingos, palm trees, and cacti. The colors are very bright and cheery, and the design is getting me excited for summer in southern California. I love that I get introduced to a new artist that I usually have not heard of every month.

2. The box always includes a good range of stationary, office supplies, and desk accessories. Past boxes have included items such as pens, pencils, desk pads, note pads, notebooks, stickers, washi tape, calendars, greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift tags, binder clips, rulers, coasters, etc. I love that this box included a tiny enamel pin, its so unique! All the supplies are super useful to keep on hand, so if you're ever in need of a new notebook, you're stocked up!

3. Every box includes a freebie paper calendar for the upcoming month that matches the box's theme. The calendar is perfect to add to your office bulletin board. I love changing my calendar at the beginning of each month! You can also download the freebies from the Papergang Blog here.

4. Most of the boxes include at least one (sometimes multiple) greeting cards. I love to stock up on birthday cards, thank you cards, and blank cards for every occasion. I always have a unique card on hand when I need it, and a ton of designs to browse through.

5. For every 4 boxes sold, Papergang plants one tree in association with Tree Aid. So if you have been subscribed for at least 4 months, you can guarantee that you're responsible for helping at least one tree be planted to help reduce poverty and protect the environment in Africa. What could be better than that?!
